RIVER CATS GAME & SCOUT NIGHT
Coming June 16, 2012 - DON'T MISS IT. Scout Night at the River Cats. This is a fun evening of great fellowship, food, and Baseball! All orders must be turned in to Richard Finn by May 31, 2012. Download this order form and then e-mail, snail-mail or deliver to Richard to secure your spot. Bring the whole family, friends, grandparents and long-lost relatives!
We have two options again this year: the discounted ticket option, to which you can add a hot dog meal voucher, and the ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BAR-B-Q Option! For those who love to eat at Baseball games (and what other reason is there to be there, really?!?) the BBQ option includes two full hours of all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet heaven, and when you consider the price of hot dogs at the park, this is a mighty fine deal!

NEXT PACK MEETING
Our Fall schedule begins in August with our first Pack Meeting being Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Join us at the Leonard Duke Davis Park (map) next to our usual Pack meeting location of Diamond Creek Elementary School. We will have an Ice Cream social, skits, games, fun! Bring a friend and introduce them to scouting.

RED VESTS FOR BADGES
Have you noticed that some of our scouts wear a red vest, sometimes called a "brag" vest, to display all of the non-official badges which they have earned? This is a great way to display all of the activities you have participated in, and is the only acceptable way to display these badges on your clothing (you cannot wear them on your class-A uniform). If you would like to purchase one, the Scout store (www.scoutstuff.org) sells one that is made of felt, or you can order one that is not felt, but made of a high quality duck cloth, from a Scout family in Virginia through their ebay site (http://shop.ebay.com/benjiman3095/m.html)
