DATE CHANGE UPDATE
Due to unexpected construction on the pier, the museum canceled our May date for the submarine overnight. Obviously this unexpected bump in the road is not an ideal situation, but we have planned to make the best of it.
We are offering two choices to everyone who signed up:
- A full 100% refund of all fees and money collected. Just email Submarine Outing Coordinator Shaun Lenhart at lhsinspect@gmail.com and let him know you want out, and he will cut you a check.
- Move your reservation to a new date in September, which is when they can accommodate the pack.
Since our new date is pretty far off, you of course can still Sign Up and join us for an exciting overnight adventure, because we do still intend to go. We are using CheddarUp to collect signups and payment: https://pampanito-overnight.cheddarup.com/
Pack 1592 Families,
It’s been 10 years since Pack 1592 has boarded the USS Pampanito, a Balao Class Submarine in San Francisco. The pack’s big overnight adventures rotate every year. You’ll want to make sure you take advantage of this trip as you might not get another chance! Signup and join us for an exciting overnight adventure.
Go back in time to World War II when she patrolled enemy waters searching for ships! Spend the night in the same bunks used by the Submariners, enjoy a personalized tour from bow to stern including the engine room, Torpedo Room, Control Room, and Conning Tower, and take in the sights of the San Francisco waterfront.
As there is a ticket cost for this adventure, we are using CheddarUp to collect signups and payment: https://pampanito-overnight.cheddarup.com/
A parent/guardian must accompany their scout as a paid participant. We have a limited number of tickets available. Once we fill the boat up, we will be sold out.
